Mayfair Library is housed in a wonderfully attractive purpose built building in the heart of the affluent suburb. The Library acts a s public service to residents, workers and those in and around the numerous nearby embassies. The library is home to a great deal of books, compact discs and video material but acts as far more than just a depository. The building regularly stages exhibitions of art and craft and is used for public meetings.
